Cycling New Zealand may look to assist with transport for international riders who require transport between Auckland International Airport and Cambridge should there be enough interest.
Transport would likely be departing Auckland International Airport on Thursday 5th January and returning on Monday 9th January 2023.
Please note, this service is not guaranteed and would need to be pre-registered on the below form.
Bus is the best form of public transport between Auckland International Airport and Cambridge. There is an Intercity bus stop outside St Peter’s School, Cambridge (opposite the Grassroots Trust Velodrome)
To assist international riders (to ensure we meet the strict UCI regulations to ensure we can host this event) Cycling New Zealand has a 4 night accommodation grant available for international riders – please see application details below. Priority will be given to individual international riders over teams to assist with meeting the UCI requirement of having 4 nations compete in each event for the event to take place.
This grant is for 4 nights’ accommodation at St Peter’s School, Cambridge (opposite the Grassroots Trust Velodrome)
Check in is on Thursday 5th January and check out on Monday 9th January only.
The subsidy includes continental breakfast and dinner in the dining hall at St Peter’s School.
