Commonwealth Games-bound Ally Wollaston continued her outstanding form on the roads of Europe, finishing third on general classification in the UCI 2.1 Lotto Tour of Belgium.

Ally, riding for her AG Insurance - NXTG Team, was 11th in the final stage to finish third overall on GC, and winner of the sprint green jersey, along with second overall in the young rider category.

New Zealand teammate Henrietta Christie was 23rd on general classification, as both prepare for the Commonwealth Games starting late this month.

Meanwhile Games teammates Mikayla Harvey (Canyon SRAM), Niamh Fisher-Black (Team SC Worx) and Georgia Williams (Team BikeExchange-Jayco) rode the prologue for the start of the 33rd Giro d’Italia Donne.
