You are not permitted to add any events.  Any scratchings must be advised by the following times at the Sport Information Desk in the Avantidrome.

Changes for Wednesday - no later than 7.00pm on Tuesday

Changes for Thursday - no later than midday on Wednesday

Changes for Friday - no later than midday on Thursday

 

Confirmation of Starters

You are only required to advise organisers if you are scratching from any event. See times above. If you have no changes to the entry list then you do not need to confirm your place on the start list.

Tuesday 25th April (Official Training) · Velodrome opens at 1.00pm due to Anzac Day · WMG exclusive times from 1.00pm – 8.30pm · Sessions are 1.5 hours · Free for registered WMG riders · No Start Gates to be used

1.00pm – 2.30pm             Masters Men 1- 3, Masters Women 1 – 3

2.30pm – 4.00pm             Masters Men 4, Masters Women 4

4.00pm – 5.30pm             Masters Men 5 – 6

5.30pm – 7.00pm             Masters Men 7 – 8

7.00pm – 8.30pm             Masters Men 9 – 13, Masters Women 5 - 9

The Bikery Café

‘The Bikery’ is our onsite café here at the Avantidrome.  They have extended their standard hours and service to ensure you have access to great NZ coffee and food.  Hours below.

We are licensed and even have a kiosk upstairs in the action with coffee, food, beer and wine.

Tuesday 25th April (Anzac Day – Public Holiday)        
Café: 1pm – 5pm 

Wednesday 26th – Friday 28th April                            
Café: 7.30am – 9pm 
Kiosk: 6pm – 9pm – hot/cold drinks, some food options, fully licensed. The Kiosk is located on the spectator's concourse – Level 2.

 

Massage

Massage will be available on site at the Avantidrome during session times (or as arranged). Fees will apply. Pre Booking available at Avantidrome Reception.

 

 

Getting here / Parking

Please take extra care when entering and exiting the veldrome.

There is limited parking available at the venue and we recommend carpooling where possible or using bus transport provided. Check out the special schedule here.

There is no parking on Hanlin Road (as you access the venue)

There is NO ACCESS to Gate 1 – this is reserved for staff and tenants.

There is limited parking available in Gate 2.  This is shared with other users of the venue.

Overflow parking is available in the marked field.

 

Other users

The venue will be operating as ‘business as usual’.  Please be respectful of our tenants who are conducting their business during this time.

 

Conditions of Entry

Only accredited riders, accredited support staff, accredited volunteers and officials are permitted access to the infield.

All other visitors are requested to utilise the public spectator areas.  Entry is free.

The venue will open from 8.00am each morning for infield access.

Featuring kids racing (yep, bring your trikes even!), drag races (with our very own NZ Olympic Medallists!) and the action-packed CTCF Criterium Street Racing!
