Warkworth world champion George Swift has finished fifth in the latest round of the UCI Enduro World Cup in Switzerland.
The E-Enduro MTB World Champion impressed in the latest round in Bellwald, in the Valais region of the Swiss Alps.
Swift finished 2m10s down on winner Ella Connolly (GBR) to move to seventh on the overall standings, with fellow New Zealander Winni Goldsbury withdrawing after a fall on the second stage.
Meanwhile Nelson teenager Nico Schroder produced a superb performance to finish second in the junior men.
Schroder finished just 4.9 seconds behind winner Hugo Montessinos (FRA) after leading for the first half of the race, which incorporated 3,000m of descending and more than 2,000m of climbing.
There is a four-week break in the schedule until the next round in France.
