The Enduro MTB National Championships are heading to Rotorua hosted by the Rotorua MTB Club on 20 - 22 March 2026. The Championships will also be held in Rotorua in 2027, exact dates TBC.

Entry Eligibility and Criteria
UCI Categories - Open to NZL riders only (as per your nationality with UCI).
Non-UCI Categories - Open to all riders
All riders are encouraged to be a member of a MTBNZ/CNZ Affiliated MTB Club
LICENCING
All riders in UCI categories must hold a 2025 Cycling New Zealand Annual Licence which comes with a valid 2025 UCI ID required to collect UCI points.
All riders in the National Championships Non-UCI categories must hold a 2025 Cycling New Zealand Annual Licence OR pay the additional $10 fee for the Cycling New Zealand One-Day Licence.

UCI Categories
Under 19 - Riders aged between 17 - 18 (as at 31 December 2025)
Elite - Riders aged 23 - 35 (as at 31 December 2025)
These categories for this National Champs are "opt in" additional to the event entry.
National Championship medals will be awarded to the first rider in each category.
In the case of a U19 having the fastest time of the day only one (Elite) National Jersey will be awarded to that rider. In the case of an Elite having the fastest time, the winner will be awarded with an Elite National Jersey and the first placed U19 rider will be awarded with a U19 National Jersey.
NON - UCI Categories
In the Cable Bay Enduro the categories include:
Under 15 - For Riders aged between 13 - 14 (as at 31 December 2025)
Under 17 - For Riders aged between 15 - 16 (as at 31 December 2025)
Under 19 - For Riders aged between 17 - 18 (as at 31 December 2025)
Open Men
Open Women
Ebike Men
Ebike Women
Masters 1 - For Riders aged between 30 - 39 (as at 31 December 2025)
Masters 2 - For Riders aged between 40 - 49 (as at 31 December 2025)
Masters 3 - For Riders aged 50+ (as at 31 December 2025)

Racing will be conducted under the Mountain Bike New Zealand Technical Regulations and UCI Regulations.
